U.S. Army engineers were seen installing barbed wire on the Donna-Rio Bravo International Bridge near the U.S.-Mexico border on Nov. 6.

In order to deal with the caravans headed on their way to the U.S. border, Trump sent as many as 15,000 soldiers as part of Operation Faithful Patriot.

Sections of wire were being assigned to different areas in order to secure the bridge.

The soldiers are working to lay out, cut, and install the wire onto the bridge. The wires are then raised on to the bridge as the soldiers secure them.

In addition, army personnel also built supports for the barbed wire along the border.

The army says the soldiers are providing military support to the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection, in order to secure the southern border of the United States.
